Easy recipe for oven pancake aka Dutch Baby. Could have benefited from the addition of a teaspoon or two of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. The flavor was a bit bland for me, but toppings could help here too. Cooked up as described in recipe. If you are looking for the classic look of a dutch baby, it’s important to use the correct pan. The recipe calls for a 9 inch cake pan and that is what I used.

It was pretty good and easy to make. I made a gluten-free version and I used monkfruit sweetener instead of white sugar.

Awesome recipe. So good with maple syrup. Thanks!

We really enjoyed this recipe. A couple things I did to tweak it… 1) I separated the yolk from the whites and whipped the whites to stiff peaks. I folded this into the rest of the batter. 2) I cooked breakfast sausages in a 9×13 pan. Drain excess fat and poured the pancake batter into the hot pan, over the sausage. All in all the pancake was great. With the added touches, the final product was delicious with sausage and a light cake. Highly recommend.

My picky eaters love this recipe. I do add a little vanilla to the batter.

I added one teaspoon of vanilla to the batter; otherwise, I followed the recipe. Easy, rich, and delicious! I will definitely make it again (and again)!

I added some maple extract to over power the egg flavor and I added some more flour to thicken the batter up. This is an AMAZING recipe and I totally recommend it.

We made it! Delicious, I used to eat this growing up as Yorkshire pudding to dip in gravy (minus the cinnamon sugar) We added vanilla extract and salt to bring out the flavor! This is my 3rd time making it the last 2 weeks

We loved it. Maybe something to distract the egg flavor.

I used just 2 tb. of butter and swapped the white sugar with brown sugar. Served this dish for dinner with pineapple chunks and chicken patties. My family really liked it! I enjoyed having “all” the pancakes done at once so I could sit down with everyone and enjoy my meal.

I have made this MOST satisfying version of pancakes since discovering it over a year or so. I love the texture of the pancake. I usually double the recipe for a thicker pancake. I always serve it with a mixture of blueberries and strawberries with a drizzle good Ole Canadian Maple Syrup. YUMMY!

I switched out the butter for coconut oil and the milk for almond milk.

love this, tastes like a crepe but so little effort, also good without the sugar topping. This is a keeper, both husband and picky kid loved this.

I made this for dinner tonight for something quick and easy. This was the first time my family and I have tried anything like it. I didn’t change a thing to this recipe and I loved it. The right combination of sweet and savory. Thank you so much for sharing this, we will be adding this to our arsenal here, lol!

I’ve made this before and it is absolutely wonderful little sprinkle of lemon juice and some strawberry preserves. However made it this morning it didn’t puff. Any ideas?

One of the few dishes that I make for dinner that I know everyone will eat! I add a dash of vanilla and double the recipe for a 9×13 pan. I sometimes add fruit to the batter such as fresh or frozen peaches or top the finished pancake with sautéed apples. Turkey sausage on the side finishes it off. Delicious for breakfast or dinner!

Very quick and easy! Served it with honey and frozen berries and it was delicious!

Compared to Chef John’s recipe for Dutch Baby on this site, I didn’t care for this one. His has only 1/2 cup flour, 3 eggs, 2/3 cup milk, and no sugar or cinnamon. So yummy with fresh lemon juice and powdered sugar sprinkled on top!

This is my go to weekend breakfast when I don’t have enough eggs to make individual egg selections for my family… This recipe is fab… Easy and delicious… Just as written. So good.
