I used hot sauce instead of mustard, none of us like mustard, it just needs a little something.

Made it, it was good!

Easy and delicious, would make again and again
Dustin Simon
Delicious! The kids loved it. Almost everyone liked dipping a nice rye bread in it most of all.

made this both with Mozza cheese, as well as Sharp cheddar. Mozza makes it way too rich and savoury. Definitely recommend the sharp cheddar. Goes great with pretzals.

We made this tonight for NYE dinner. Our family of 4 all liked it! I read the other reviews and used more beer to help thin it (it was still thick even after that) and less dry mustard (I used 1/2 tsp). Beware though, have everything ready to go premeasured, the beer bubbled over while I was measuring the dry mustard and made a mess…

Made this exactly but added a teaspoon more Guinness and 2tblsp of franks red hot sauce… my husband and daughter scraped the pot clean.??
Cynthia Lewis
Made it exactly as per the recipe, needs something else , too bland

Very easy and delicious! Definitely try with granny smith apple slices.

This was good – especially with soft pretzels for dipping, but my family likes the traditional gruyere fondue a little better

Sooooo good!!! Not bitter at all! I used a dark beer and added a tsp. of chipotle powder.
Cheryl Butler
Very good recipe. Used it with a sourdough bread bowl.

This turned out pretty good. I substituted fresh garlic and soy sauce, because I was out if worcestshire. I mad open face beef brisket sandwiches with the cheese sauce ladled on top!
Veronica Cook
very Good 😀

Made as written and this was good. My only recommendation is to add a bit more Worcestershire. That is all.
Kathleen Cole
Made exactly as instructed and it turned out really nicely. The worcestshire cuts the bitter beer taste. Served with brats, broccoli, apples, and bread.

It was ok. Followed the recipe exact. Way too much mustard though. I would make it again but maybe only use half a tsp of mustard.

This was sooooo delicious! Like the other reviewer, I had to add more beer as it was too thick. I did not have dry mustard, so used some stone ground mustard instead. Next time I will double it because it was gone quick!
Kelly Jones
We had this last night, it was delicious. We did have to add more beer because this was very very thick.
