Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces gin
  2. 6 ounces cranberry juice
  3. 2 ounces orange juice
  4. Ginger beer or ginger ale, for topping
  5. Thyme sprigs, fresh cranberries and orange peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin, cranberry juice and orange juice in a pitcher and stir.
  2. When ready to serve, pour the drink over ice. Top with ginger beer or ginger ale to taste. Garnish with thyme, a few cranberries and orange peel.

Very festive drink. I made it as written with tiny orange pieces, thyme and some fresh cranberries for garnish as suggested. I had worried about the cranberry juice making the drink too tart but it wasn’t. The orange juice and ginger ale balance that perfectly. This is a very quick and easy drink to throw together for any occasion.

The garish alone make this drink – looks so festive! Drink is easy and tasty. I think it could use more gin as it drinks a bit too sweet if you have a few of them.
