This simple grilled side dish couldn’t be easier. I toss the Brussels sprouts and red onion with a little oil, salt and pepper and grill them using a grill basket. The smoke from the grill adds an extra layer of flavor. Once they’re cooked, I toss the veggies with a simple vinaigrette. Doesn’t get easier than that!

Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- For the Brussels sprouts: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (425 degrees F).
- Toss the Brussels sprouts and onion with the olive oil, salt and pepper in a nonstick grill basket. Place the basket on the grill rack. Cover and cook until the Brussels sprouts begin to soften, 8 to 10 minutes. Uncover and stir the vegetables. Cover and cook until the vegetables are charred and crisp-tender, about 2 more minutes.
- Remove the vegetables from the basket to a serving bowl.
- For the dressing: Whisk together the mustard, vinegar, honey and olive oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the desired amount of dressing over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat. Serve warm.

Thank you, Miss Brown! I made this for my husband and I along with a grilled pork tenderloin. It was amazing! They were a smokey, umami flavor bomb. Will definitely add this to my summertime grill list!
I didn’t eat Brussel sprouts until I saw you make this for you and a friend while glamping lol. It’s now one of my favorites!

My family really likes these! It’s the closest I’ve come to replicating something you get in a restaurant and I’ve been trying for years! You won’t be disappointed.
