Delicious and super sweet. I have a big sweet tooth, but I can see others maybe finding it to be too much. Although I loved it I will not be making it again because I found the calories and especially the sugar to be insane, even for a desert.
I scaled the recipe in half, cut back a little on the sugars (personal taste), used old fashioned oats, and strawberries and blueberries for the fruit. Recipe is a little heavy on the topping, but this still turned out very well, and I’d make it again.
Way too much topping for a 9 inch pan. Some of the topping was crispy but also some tasted chewy and undercooked. Not a fan of the flavour of the topping either. Also way too many oats. I used strawberries and blueberries.
Perfectly easy and delicious! I had to back the bake time down to 50 min.
Fantastic!! Changed it up a bit because I didn’t have the exact amount of berries so added homemade whole cranberry sauce to make up the difference. Also threw a half cup of crushed pecans into the crisp.. the rate Anna texture are perfect!
