This recipe is excellent. I have made it with plain white vinegar, but the cider vinegar gives it a better taste.
Delish and I froze the leftover dressing !
This is the closest recipe I’ve found that came close to my mama’s homemade recipe. I know for a fact that hers did not have ranch dressing in it, but that makes it so good!!
Few it all together ïn a gallon size zippy bag and mashed it up! Made awesome flavor added Beau Monde by Spice Island instead of salt. Excellent right away. Served on top of BBQ Pork sandwiches.
Made 1/2 amount to try it. Loved it, will do full recipe next time. Thanks!
The only thing I changed as I used more tony Chachere’s than what the recipe called for. I made it to take to a retirement party and everyone raved over it asking for the recipe.
Just made this and it is excellent! Decreased the amount of sugar, had Cajun seasoning instead of Creole. Serving it with hot roast beef sandwiches tonight. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!
Wonderful tangy taste that makes me enjoy coleslaw once again,
I did have to make some changes to substitute what I didn’t have on hand. Used celery salt in place of celery seed. Used Light Mayo, a little less sugar, white vinegar, a little less black pepper and no Creole seasoning. We loved it. Will definitely make again.
Fantastic, made as written, but I was out of celery seed, so I used poppy seeds, ( full teaspoon) and it was fantastic on salads, as well as slaw. Will keep this in the frig all the time now!
I used dry ranch dressing instead of bottled. Great recipe for regular salads.
Easy, tasty, instead of using creole I use Korean red pepper flake. Yum! Thank you for the recipe.
2 Tbs sugar seems enough.
Very tasty but I agree with other about the sugar. Super easy to make with a bag of pre-cut slaw. I halved the entire recipe but used about 1/4 the amount of sugar and added an extra splash of vinegar.
Excellent taste!
A bit tangy, from the cider vinegar the first time, second time less vinegar and more ranch! Great quick recipe!
this is my go to coleslaw recipe ! I mix everything except the mayo first , substitute Ms dash for the seasoning , and then add mayo , and then let sit or 1-2 hrs !! excellent !!
This is really good—simple and flavorful. I substituted stevia for the sugar.
Excellent. I will use it frequently. Fresh, tangy and perfect with food or in a sandwich.
A little too sweet for my taste, I’ll add less sugar next time. Otherwise, simple and delicious.
I made this recipe, but substituted the apple cider vinegar with ice wine vinegar. Delicious! Tasted better the second day!
