S’moreos

  4.2 – 6 reviews  • Broiling
Say good-bye to graham crackers, your s’mores just got sandwiched by a new kid in town — the chocolate sandwich cookie! It’s the perfect place to house a toasted, gooey marshmallow and melted chocolate. And thanks to your broiler you can say farewell to the campfire too.
Level: Easy
Total: 10 min
Active: 5 min
Yield: 12 servings

Ingredients

  1. 12 chocolate sandwich cookies, such as Oreos ®
  2. 12 marshmallows
  3. 12 squares milk chocolate candy bar (about 1.5 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Twist the tops off the cookies. Arrange the cookie bottoms, cream-side up, on a baking sheet. Put a piece of chocolate on the cream filling and then top with a marshmallow, laying on its side.
  3. Broil, watching closely, until the marshmallows are golden, about 30 seconds. Sandwich each with the remaining cookie tops. Eat while they’re melted and gooey.

These are awesome.  Easy to make and everyone thought that were cool and festive!  These will be at all our Fourth of July celebrations.  My favorite combo is peanut butter Oreos with toasted marshmallow, without the chocolate bar. A definite hit at the party.  People stood around eating them all night!
