So easy and delicious — loved by both the adults and grandkids at our Thanksgiving table. I blanched and cooled the broccoli the day before Thanksgiving; completing the recipe on Thanksgiving. What a time saver!
This was a fantastic dish! Cooked it exactly as the recipe stated and it was perfect. I started eating the broccoli right out of the pan. Whole family loved it!
I always wondered how the broccoli served in Italy stays so hot and delicious… now I know! This was so easy- I could have bypassed the pasta I served it with and just had the broccoli as the main course- Yummmm! I also added about a tsp of crushed red pepper when tossing all the ingredients together before putting it in the oven- fabulous!
Quick and easy…my boyfriend loves it…I add some lemon zest and I use Panko usually
Easy, fast, delicious. I like to mince then mash the garlic and let it sit in the olive oil while I’m doing other things in the kitchen. I blanch the broccoli just for one minute. After blanching, be sure to pat some of the moisture out of the broccoli, otherwise it will come out a little soggy and not crunchy. Next, I combined the broccoli and the garlic/olive oil mixture and then put in the oven for 12 minutes. Absolutely fantastic. I’ve filed this away under the heading “Best Broccoli.”
Extremely easy and quick! Slightly crunchy, loved that in the brocoli and cheese. I used Panko so that added more crunch.
Delicious! I used panko bread crumbs because its all I had on hand. I just crushed them up a bit….DELICIOUS!!! Now this is the only way I will eat broccoli at home.
so delicious! i rarely make broccoli because i can’t be bothered, but was easy and so yummy. this is totally going into my rotation of sides. this would also be delicious with cauliflower.
This is wonderful! Totally delicious, totally easy. This is my husband’s go-to recipe; any time he makes dinner, he tosses this in. I can’t say enough positive things about this recipe. And for those who want exact ingredients, it all depends on how much broccoli you have. Just wing it, you’ll be fine.
I’ve never blanched or roasted vegetables before. This recipe was simple and a success. I never eat broccoli so I probably prepared it wrong, which is why only 80% of the broccoli came out of the oven crunchy. I made this for a holiday meal with friends, but I won’t make it again for myself – because I don’t like this vegetable.
