Ingredients
- 2 cups good-quality vanilla ice cream
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 2 teaspoons mint-flavored liqueur, such as creme de menthe
- Whipped cream, for serving
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Refrigerate 1 large or 2 small glasses to chill. Blend the ice cream, bourbon and liqueur in a blender on medium-high speed until the mixture is uniform and creamy, about 1 minute. Pour it into the chilled glass(es), top with whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.

Actually much better than a real mint julep. I am from Louisville originally and I have had many versions of the drink, but this is the first one that I would recommend to anyone.
