Reviews
Good enough for Wigglley Field but not a “Chicago Dog”. My first dogs were purchased from street venders with push carts without grills. So, true Chicago Dogs are steamed not grilled and the onions are raw. Hot sport peppers not mild peppers. At hot dog stands, the only way to get catsup would be if you had a note from home. These are O.k. dogs for Cub fans.
Real Chicago hotdogs never use ketchup.
tryed, what I wanted. Great
I was native kid from Chicago. walking distance from Wrigley field…hot dogs were existence!
NOW…the current 21st century…changing taste buds…marketing…etc…this recipe is solid.
When we make hot dogs in No. California…difficult to find Vienna Beef hot dogs. Same trouble finding Poppy Seed buns. The stuff that we put on the dogs…we are careful not to trigger indigestion!!!
Regardless…we provide our grand kids with all available ingredients as listed…encourage them to explore, to enjoy and to have fun!

Love it! I put ketchup on hot dogs. You are free to forego it if you choose.
I bought a footlong hotdog at the ball game last night. I did not enjoy my hotdog. the reasons why are as follows, 1 The bun was fell apart 2 The melted cheese was nasty 3 The color of the relish was too green.
I did enjoy the nachoes and that the cubs won and we saw the ron santo statue
You DON’T put ketchup on a Chicago hot dog.

NEVER,,BUT,,,NEVER put catsup on a Chicago Stye Dog
