Great stuff! One of my friends actually made this for a potluck and I loved it so I asked her where she got it and now it’s a family favorite, especially the kids love it!

I just saw this recipe on tv today and I am shocked this got 5 stars.  This recipe has so much sugar with all the canned fruit.  On top of that it calls for fruit concentrate?!! You are supposed to cut fruit concentrate with at least 2 cups of water.  The only liquid in this recipe is from lemon juice.  It’s cheaper and healthier to just buy actual fruit and give it to your kids.  Shame on all the moms who gave this recipe 5 stars and for giving this to your kids.  Stop being lazy and cut some real fruit!

Using frozen fruit like this in a smoothie is yummy, you can freeze any combination, honeydew melons, cantalope with green grapes is good.
Put one of the frozen cups of fruit in a blender along with either apple juice or orange juice (I like the orange juice) add plain Greek yogurt or you can use vanilla yogurt, add some raw honey if you wish…..blend it real well and enjoy. So good and the the frozen fruit makes it nice and cold.
I did not give amounts because I eyeball pretty much everything unless I’m baking. Enjoy what is called a Honey Bee Smoothie!!

I wish the recipe would state what size cans

This was very simple to make and very delicious. I did add 2 cans of diced mangos. My kids loved it. We will definitely make this again.

Really good, grandchildren loved them. So much healthier than cake or cookies. I made the recipe exactly and I dont understand how people can rate a recipe on the changes they made. Make the original recipe first and if you dont like it change it!

I thought this recipe was good, but my kids weren’t huge fans. Not sure why as they are not picky eaters. Just want to mention that ours needed WAY more time than 30 minutes to thaw anywhere close to being able to chisel out fruit.

Great recipe! Think I will just use orange juice next time, it was a little too pineapple-ish for my kids.
We also tried it with a little sprite on the slightly thawed salad, it was very good! I think champagne with it would make a great brunch salad!

I halved this recipe and got rid of really ripe bananas. It was great; didn’t have any fruit cocktail so I substituted a can of pears and some marachino cherries I had open in the fridge and needed to use. Also substituted half can of orange juice concentrate and the juice from the can of pineapple – worked great. My son takes his lunch every day and he thought this was fantastic to take with him. Have been very pleasantly surprised by the recipes of Ree Drummond – my family seems to perfer them to other long-time chefs on Food Network.
