Ingredients
- 5 jumbo sweet potatoes, halved
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and bake until soft, about 20 minutes. When cool enough to hold, remove the peels and place in a saucepot. Add the butter, cream, salt and pepper and mash together.

Can’t figure out what the brown thing on top of the potatoes is supposed to be in the picture. Looks like some dropped a deuce if ya catch my drift. What the hell is that supposed to be anyways? I don’t think Martha Stewart would approve.
I think the recipe is supposed to have the salt and pepper be 3 TEASPOONS, not tablespoons. The recipe turned out way too seasoned.
