I made these years ago . Left them in the pantry for several years then used them in a Manhattan cocktail . Made another tonight & my husband was totally blown away regarding how fabulous they tasted
These are spectacular!! I made them for my dad at Christmas. He drinks Manhattans with them but admits to eating them right out of the jar because they are so good. I am making another jar for him for Fathers Day. He’ll love it!!! Thanks for the recipe, fantastic idea!
Where can you purchase maraschino liquer?
They are very tasty! But I have to admit that I decided to add just a touch of almond extract and a little sugar just to make it a bit sweeter. I can’t wait to share them with my close friends for family. Thanks for such an easy and tasty treat! And Ted, you’re the coolest!
Thank you Ted Allen!! Sour cherries in light syrup were surprisingly hard to find, so we just used “Tart Cherries in water” (then added a teaspoon of sugar They are AWESOME!! And great gift idea. Again, Thank you!!
I made them earlier today. Frankly, I don’t eat them. I made them for my Hunny and to give as gifts for the holiday. Will post after they’ve been tasted. They smell yummy! Love you Ted!
