Ingredients
- Fox’s U-Bet chocolate flavor syrup
- Cold whole milk or half-and-half
- Ice-cold club soda or seltzer water
Instructions
- Pour 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup and 1/4 cup of milk or half-and-half into a 16-ounce glass. While beating vigorously with a fork, slowly add club soda until the glass is almost full. Add a straw and serve very cold.

Easier way to measure — take a tall glass (pint glass is nice), add two fingers of chocolate syrup (Fox’s), fill glass 1/4 the way up with whole milk (half and half if you’re feeling decadent), stir vigorously, top up with seltzer then stir again.
To get the white foam on the top you have to add the syrup last otherwise the foam is dark.
Absolutely delicious definitely one of my favorites!
These are perfect, my dad would get these for us every Saturday morning at a soda fountain while we waited for the laundry at the laundromat. Brought me right back to my childhood. On the way out he would get us a Milky Way to split later!
Egg creams are NASTY! Tried one once. Blech. Never again! Not even a fan of ice cream sodas.
