Instructions
- Preheat a dry skillet over a medium-high heat. Add the walnuts, maple syrup and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelized and nuts are toasted, about 3 minutes. Let cool.

So easy to make and delicious! I used three cups walnut and 1/3 cups of maple syrup. They still come out very sweet. I like how the syrup amount can be adjusted less or more based on personal preference. This is a great way to use the giant bag of walnuts we bought at Costco.

These are delicious! A friend of mine had surprised me with a 36 oz. bag of maple walnuts he had purchased for $5 at a Fisher Nut outlet store in Elgin, IL. It’s hit and miss, what sales they have and this special deal has evaporated into thin air so I searched for a recipe on the internet. Found this and it’s super easy. I did like one reviewer, and put them in the pan to roast a bit before adding the syrup because of the crunch factor. Since this is my third time making these and I use them for everything from topping waffles to sprinkling on fresh French green beans, I used 4 cups and just under a half a cup of maple syrup…DIVINE!
Easy and always a hit! Use real maple syrup, and roast nuts in pan a few minutes before adding syrup to give them an extra crunch and bring out the flavor. I find walnuts work the best, but personal preference.

Oh my good god. Make double right from the beginning. I’ve already eaten half of the first batch. I did add some cayenne and a touch more flaky salt at the end, but these little morsels are AMAZING- and soooo easy. The cooler they get- the crunchier, so give some time before you touch them. I laid them out on a sheet of parchment to cool before putting them into a container.

These are delicious. Simple to make and healthy. It is hard to stop eating them.
So yummy and easy to make. I also added cayenne pepper and cinnamon to give it an extra kick. Hard not to eat the whole batch they are so good. Will be making these next Christmas to give as gifts.
