It’s in the oven now. My first time to make dressing without corn bread and turkey broth and I’m 78 yrs old! Anxious to see how it turns out. Gave it 5 stars based on what the other reviewers said.

this is almost identical to my Mom’s, only she uses all chicken broth and it’s fantastic!

I love this place. Everything they make is delicious! Grew up 8 miles from the fields where they grow the food! Am make this dressing this week!

My family loved this recipe. Served for Thanksgiving and Christmas to much success. Have even been asked for this recipe! Made it exactly as written and found no need to change anything. If you like your dressing crunchy and drier, bake it in a 9X13. If you like it softer and moister, bake it in an 8X8. Thanks for posting – been trying to find a homemade dressing for 3 years to satisfy my husband and this one is a keeper for us!

I actually made this exactly as written (minus the onions due to some people having allergies) and everyone really liked it. It was my first time making dressing and my first time hosting Thanksgiving and after reading the other reviews I was really, really nervous about how it would turn out. I used a combo of white italian bread and wheat bread from the grocery bakery to make my bread cubes. Everyone raved about it and I liked it too. I will make again and I probably will add some chicken broth to it only because I am used to a “mushier” dressing in my family but no one complained about it as is.

This was one of the best stuffing recipes I’ve ever tried…loved it! In fact, everyone did!

Very moist and tasty. Thank god I read reviews on adding chicken stock to it other wise I would have had some crazy stuffing. Good.
