Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup sugar
  2. 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  3. 1/2 cup ice
  4. 8 ounces gummy worms (about 1 1/2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Add the sugar and 1/2 cup water to a small saucepan. Place over low heat and warm, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is just coming to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice, ice and 1/2 cup water to cool the mixture until the ice is completely melted.
  2. Meanwhile, stuff about 3 gummy worms in each of ten 3-ounce ice-pop molds. Fill the molds with the cooled lemonade, just enough to cover the worms. Freeze for at least 10 hours or according to the manufacturer’s directions.

i really liked this recipe, it was tasty and delicious. the only problem i has was when i used haribo brand gummy worms, they were so hard you’ll break a tooth. then i made it one more time with different brand gummy worms and it was better to eat.

The kids loved the surprise inside these popsicles! I used a storebought raspberry lemonade to make it really quick and easy.
