Ingredients

  1. 4 tablespoons butter
  2. 3 Bosc pears, peeled, cored, cut into 8ths
  3. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  4. Pinch salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  6. 1 teaspoon Madagascar vanilla extract
  7. Vanilla ice cream, for serving

Soooo good! My pears weren’t that ripe either I just cooked them a bit longer in the butter. Thanks to the other reviewer =)

Just make sure the pears are ripe enough before you make this recipe. Our pears were not quite ripe enough and therefore did not get softened during the cooking process. However, the flavors are terrific and we would make it again.

Haven’t tried the recipe yet but looks amazingly yummy. And I love cardamom. Can’t wait to impress some dinner guests.
