By adding a slice of bacon, stuffed mushrooms, a traditional favorite, are elevated to new heights. Simple, but delicious to the taste!

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 25 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  1. 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  2. 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  3. 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  4. ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Rinse green beans and pat dry with paper towels; spread onto a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle beans with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Use your hands to toss the beans until evenly coated with oil; spread out in a single layer.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven until beans are crisp-tender, look slightly shriveled, and start to show golden caramelized spots, 15 to 25 minutes.

We really liked them. I did them in the air fryer at 375 for 5 min. less. We ate some like this and added Parmesan at the table for some and liked them too.

Loved these beans! I don’t normally care for fresh green beans but this recipe just changed my mind! The only thing i changed was adding parmesan cheese during the last five minutes of baking.

I used the air fryer for this recipe- very good. Next time I will use less oil though. I reheated them in the air fryer the next night and they were even better!

Simple, which is the stage I’m at in life currently. I need to just commit this to memory as “how to cook green beans” so I don’t even need to pull out the recipe. Just trim beans and throw in a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss with hands, and roast for around 20 minutes. I think I can remember it…

Made as written and the cook is right they taste much like french fries.

I’ve made these many times for my family who love fresh green beans but I used lemon/pepper and plenty of butter on ours. Very tasty! ??

Though I did add some parm cheese when I took them out of the oven

Great recipe, nice change from steamed. I made it exactly as written. Will be making a lot.

It truly makes me upset when people give a recipe of less than because they decided to do something different! You didn’t give the recipe a chance really come on man!

you do do this with cauliflower and broccoli also.

Been making these for years but with twist. In your food processor, grind a cup of hazelnuts or cashews into a powder, add to the oiled beans and roll to coat. Gives them a whole new demeanor.

Quick and easy and tastes great.

Thank you thank you for this recipe! So simple but so so good! My hubby, who hates green beans, LOVES them – immediately finishes off any leftover!
