OK last question from me, can I use my side loader dryer to combine the nuts and fruit?? It has a fruit?nuts setting I think!!!
Ellie you truly are the worst cook in America.
I didn’t know how to dry the fruit so I put it out in the sun. I don’t know what to do next. You should make clearer instructions next time.
This sucks, I tried to dry my fruit with a towel, and I got stuff from my towel mixed into it, tasted awful. Make your recipes easier next time please.
Outstanding recipe – it goes so well with my grandmother’s old family recipe for ice cubes – (freeze water in ice cube trayand something up picked up at the French Laundry in Napa (thanks chef! – a little something I like to call “table salt”, so easy to make and you don’t even need a table!
Too hard!!! Can you dumb it down a little for me? Should I ask a friend for help?
I just skipped the overly complicated steps and added Crunch Berries to a bowl.
And what are we supposed to combine them in? I have a hub cap that I can use but still, can’t you think of us when you make these recipes?
I had a really difficult time combining the fruit and nuts. Somehow, my hand mixer just hasn’t been able to do the job. Should I be using a food processor instead?
Make sure to note in future you mean edible unsalted nuts. I nearly broke a tooth on the metal. You will be receiving a hospital bill.
I am not sure why this recipe received the rating level of “Easy.” It doesn’t even say where or how to combine the nuts and dried fruits. On my kitchen counter? A cereal bowl? A ramekin? An egg cup? The silver soup tureen that is saved for special occasions that never arrive? My great grandfather’s bronzed baby bootie? The dog’s dish (she isn’t using it at the moment, anyway)?
Do I need to stir them with a spoon? Shake them a little? Or a lot? Swirl around with my index finger?
Could you PLEASE include more information on the correct protocol, next time? This whole situation made me so neurotic I ate all the dried cranberries straight out of the plastic bag they came in from the bulk food store. Now I don’t know what to do with all these nuts!
