Vesper Martinis with Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives and Pickled Okra

Ingredients

  1. 2.5 ounces gin
  2. 2.5 ounces vodka
  3. 1 ounce pickled okra juice plus 2 pickled okra
  4. 1 ounce dry vermouth, in a misting bottle
  5. 4 blue cheese stuffed olives

Instructions

  1. Chill 2 martini glasses chilled in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the gin, vodka and pickled okra juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 1 to 2 minutes. Mist the martini glasses with the dry vermouth. Strain the gin and pickled okra juice into the glasses. Garnish with the blue cheese stuffed olives and pickled okra.

This isn’t a Vesper. A dirty martini perhaps but without an aperitif wine featuring quinine, it’s not a Vesper.
