For anybody who enjoys tiramisu, tiny bite-sized sweets.

Ingredients

  1. 1 (16 ounce) package fudge stripe cookies
  2. 1 cup buttermilk
  3. 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  4. 3 bananas, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  5. 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
  6. 1 (8 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained

Instructions

  1. Break 2/3 of the fudge stripe cookies into quarters.
  2. Beat buttermilk and pudding mix together in a large bowl until slightly thickened. Stir quartered cookies into pudding. Fold bananas, whipped topping, and oranges into pudding mixture. Top with remaining whole cookies.

Our grocery store was out of buttermilk – so I used 3/4 cup milk and 1/2 cup sour cream. Turned out WONDERFUL!!

Good traditional salad! I felt this got a little too “soupy” and when I make it again, I will cut down the milk…..concerned that the cookies will be completely soggy in a short time. But very good flavor!
