I just tried this with a small amount to test and loved it. Super easy and don’t leave out the pickled jalepeno’s!

Have not made these, but my go-to variation on this is my mother’s recipe, which is browned & drained L’il Smokies, simmered in pineapple preserves & prepared mustard (any kind). All to taste. I have substituted apricot preserves, when I couldn’t find pineapple. Always a crowd pleaser.

Don’t cut it diagonal, please. You know what your taste buds like.

Just okay. Really, people need a recipe for this! Lol…Not impressive.

Most of my friends and family thought it was just okay. No wow here.

I used the little weenies because they were BOGO, used jar bought bbq sauce and pickled jallies just like she said, I did, however, cook for a longer period of time. Christmas ever party, I made them a day before and cooked for an hour, day of party I cooked for another hour to hour and a half. Longer cooking time for an appetizer that disappeared in 30 minutes. Yummy

It’s good, nothing super impressive but quick and easy…I’d highly suggest a good bbq sauce such as Cattleman’s ( great with pulled pork too ).

A crowd pleaser for sure. I completely forgot to add the hot sauce, but just as well. The Jalepeno gave it enough kick!

Made it for our New Year’s Eve party and it was a favorite!

This recipe really came together for me, after about 4 hours of simmering in crockpot. It allowed the sugars in the meat and sauce to develop a more complex flavor. Initially, I was impressed, tasted kind of generic but was pleased with end result.
