Ingredients

  1. 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  2. 1/3 cup sour cream
  3. 2 tablespoons finely minced onion
  4. 3 tablespoons carrot, finely diced
  5. 3 tablespoons scallions, green part only, sliced thinly
  6. 3 tablespoons red pepper, finely diced
  7. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  8. Freshly ground pepper to taste
  9. Small round peasant style bread
  10. Bagel chips

Instructions

  1. In an electric mixer beat all ingredients together until smooth. Slice off top of peasant bread and hollow out the center. Use bread as a “bowl” for dip. Serve with bagel chips.

It’s better than foodnetwork’s recipe but needs either ranch or Italian herbs- which is what I do with a splash of worstechire

This was a good dip but kinda bland. It does make a good companion to fresh strong veggies. Maybe try to use radishes for dipping or add some hot sauce.
