Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves, or to taste
- 1 cup water, or as needed
- 1 medium apple, cored and chopped
- 1 medium pear, cored and chopped
- 1 small lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
- ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger
Instructions
- Combine spinach, 1 cup water, apple, pear, lemon juice, flaxseed, and ginger in a blender. Puree until smooth, adding more water if needed.
- Add fresh fruit, cucumbers, slivered almonds, coconut, fresh herbs, or different dark leafy greens for tasty variations on this recipe.
