French 75

  5.0 – 4 reviews  • Gin Recipes
The French 75 is a classic Champagne cocktail that came out of the Prohibition era. Traditionally, it’s made with gin (or cognac), lemon juice, and champagne, but you can substitute any kind of spirit for the gin and it’ll always work beautifully.

Amazing…. I used Vodka, well, because I like Vodka better. Very strong, but, incredibly delicious. Could only handle one…somewhat of a light weight.

If you remember the ratio: 1-2-3
One part simple syrup, two parts gin, 3 parts bubbly and a lemon twist rubbed inside the glass, you’ll stop counting at 3!
