Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  2. 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  3. 1/2 tsp. salt
  4. 1 large egg
  5. 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  6. 1/2 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
  7. 1/3 cup maraschino cherry liquid
  8. 2 envelopes premelted unsweetened chocolate
  9. 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  10. 1/4 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  11. 3/4 cup marshmallow creme

Instructions

  1. HEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in bowl of electric mixer. Add egg, brown sugar, shortening, cherry liquid and chocolate. Blend well at low speed. Stir in walnuts and cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. BAKE 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on racks.
  4. FROST each cooled cookie with 1 teaspoon marshmallow creme.
