Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup peach jam
  2. 2 tablespoons ketchup
  3. 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  4. 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  5. 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  6. 12 ounces green beans, trimmed
  7. Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  8. 1 1/2 cups instant flour, such as Wondra
  9. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  10. 1 large egg white
  11. Vegetable oil, for frying
  12. 4 1/4-inch-thick boneless pork loin chops (about 1 pound), trimmed

Instructions

  1. Cook the jam, ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and 3 tablespoons water in a large skillet over medium-high heat, whisking, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Whisk in the vinegar, then the butter, a few pieces at a time; whisk in a few tablespoons water if the sauce is too thick. Remove from the heat and cover. Put the green beans in a microwave-safe bowl; sprinkle with water and season with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap, pierce the plastic and microwave until tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Whisk 1 cup flour, the baking powder, 1/2 cup water, the egg white and the remaining 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce in a bowl; add a few more tablespoons water, if needed. Put the remaining 1/2 cup flour in a shallow dish. Heat 1/4 inch vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 375 degrees F on a deep-fry thermometer. Dredge the pork chops in the flour, then dip in the batter. Fry until golden, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels. Serve with the peach sauce and green beans.

The proportions are all off in this recipe.  The sauce recipe asked for too much vinegar.  It came out as bland chops with vinegar sauce.

This dish was fantastical! It is a keeper for sure…☮️. Thank You

My mom used to make pork chops with a coating. I didn’t pay attention enough to be able to recall the recipe but this is a close second. The peach sauce is excellent over the chops.

This is absolutely. my favorite way to get the kids to eat pork chops.  The sauce is amazing.  This is my go to for a different way to make pork chops.  We serve it with any green veggie.

Fantastic, flavor go well with the pork, really great, nice crunch on the flour coating for the chops, nice moist pork, got to wathc the heat, use a induction single burner from the TV show and set temp at 375, worked great, no burn but a nice crunch on the outside of the chop, used the fry pan that came with the TV induction single burner. Worked great, first time also for the green beans in the micro, really fresh tender flavor with the beans, added a little salt  (popcorn salt) and spray butter to the beans in the micro, fresh great flavor to say the least, first time to cook fresh green beans in the Microwave, great idea.

I really wanted to rate this a 3 1/2. I didn’t care for the chop. Kinda like a pancake batter. It wasn’t dry or anything, I just didn’t like the coating. But the sauce, a five. I used my homemade peach jam. Totally rocked. I would 100% make the sauce again. That’s just my opinion.

Horrid, doubled the recipe except the apple cider vinegar only added 2 tablespoon.  All you can taste is ketchup and vinegar.  What a waste!!

I never follow recipes.  I’m just looking for the method.  I roasted a half a pork loin to a beautiful medium and made this sauce. Once again, I couldn’t follow and used the apricot preserves in my fridge, but made it exact to the recipe.  It rocked!!!  Will do again?  Absolutely.

I made this last night and it was easy and absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect. The pork chops cook up golden and crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. The only thing I would do differently is to double, or even triple, the sauce recipe as it doesn’t make a lot of sauce. This one is definitely a keeper!
