Reviews
These are absolutely my favorite meatballs. The only change I make is to cut the amount of onions in half – choose either the red or the white (either is fine). I love tht there’s not this crazy process where you need to fry the meatballs then bake them. So easy, and they turn out tasty and moist. Not sure what kind of difference the red wine makes b/c I haven’t tried making them without.
I have tried a few recipes for Meatballs but continually come back to this one and consistently have people clear their plates and ask for more. This also is so easy and great as leftovers…I just add a little more wine and sauce and heat on medium heat on the stove…almost better than the first night! Looking forward to rainy weather just so I can make this recipe again.
Made this with my own sauce and used sweet italian sausage in place of one pound of the ground beef. It makes great spaghetti and meatball dinner. Will always use this recipe when making meatballs. Thanks for posting this as well.
yum
This was such a good recipe however I added a chopped bell pepper (green) and omited the capers and added 1 pd Italian sausauge. This only enhanced a perfect meatball for my spagetti.
These are great.
amazing!!!
This is a good meatball recipe, however, in the future I would add some basil and oregano.
These meatballs were so easy and so delicious! Tasted just like my Great Aunt Mary’s—she was Italian!!! Even my granddaughter loved them!!!
