Here’s a classic version featuring vodka, cranberry juice and lime juice that adds a simple syrup infused with fresh rosemary for a piney kick. It’s a great go-to cocktail for the holidays and beyond.

Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce cranberry-apple juice
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice (from about 1 lime)
- 1 ounce Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Ice cubes, for shaking
- Sprig fresh rosemary
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 7 to 10 sprigs fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail glass with ice water to chill.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, cranberry-apple juice, lime juice, rosemary simple syrup and ice. Shake vigorously until very cold, 15 to 30 seconds.
- Remove the ice water from the glass and strain the drink into the chilled glass. Garnish with rosemary and enjoy!
- Combine the sugar, rosemary and 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow to steep for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Transfer the syrup to a squeeze bottle or airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Strain out the rosemary before using. Makes 2 cups.
